About Us

With artists formerly from Golgotha Tattoos in Carbondale, Karma Tattoos & Body Piercing came about in concert with new Illinois state laws effective July 1, 2007 regulating the tattoo and body piercing industry.  The new shop was constructed from the ground up to be fully compliant and was also internally restructured as a true artist cooperative.  We provide full custom tattoo services as well as house many flash designs.  Piercings feature medical implant grade jewelry and are performed by our anatomy trained piercist.  Our artists have a combined experience of over 55 years!
